About this site
sami-web.com is the website of SamiWeb, a bootstrapped software company founded and run by Muhammad Sami in Pakistan. It describes our services, our product in development (ShelfTalk) and examples of past work. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
Information on the site
We try to keep everything on this site accurate and up to date, but it's provided for general information only. Timelines, prices and results mentioned on the site are examples, not offers. The specifics of any project are set out in its proposal.
ShelfTalk
ShelfTalk is free, open-source software released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later). That license, not these terms, sets out your rights to copy, modify and share the plugin's code.
ShelfTalk is in early development (version 0.1.0 is its first development release) and is provided as-is, without warranty, as the license sets out. Features described on this site may change. It runs on your own WordPress site with your own Anthropic API key and sends requests from your store directly to Anthropic, so SamiWeb doesn't receive your store's data, and Anthropic's terms apply to your use of its API. The plugin's README documents what it sends.
If we set up or customise ShelfTalk for you, that work is agreed in writing like any other project.
Project work
Quotes, deliverables, timelines, payment terms and ownership of the finished work are agreed in writing for each project. If anything in a signed proposal or agreement differs from these terms, the proposal or agreement applies.
Portfolio and trademarks
The design and text of this site belong to SamiWeb. Projects shown in the portfolio are examples of our work for clients. Client names, logos and websites belong to their respective owners. WooCommerce, WordPress and Claude are trademarks of their respective owners.
Links to other websites
The site links to client websites, Vimeo and WhatsApp. We're not responsible for the content or privacy practices of websites we don't control.
Acceptable use
Please don't attempt to disrupt the site, access it in ways it isn't intended to be used, or copy its design or content for your own commercial use without permission.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
